I have been privileged to know Virginia Boone since her student days. She has consistently applied herself to the study of the Word of God and demonstrates an understanding of its teaching that is both expansive and deep.
Her knowledge is not abstract. She has been faithful in using her knowledge and skill to help others understand and apply the Word. Virginia has demonstrated her skill in a wide array of relationships: personal friendships, local church ministry, and for many years, ministry in our local jail.
Both in knowledge and in application, Virginia’s biblically sound teaching and counseling has been a benefit to others. I can attest that she is singularly focused on Jesus Christ, His Word, and the power of Christ’s word to rebuild broken lives.

It was my pleasure to supervise Virginia Boone for the Clinical Field Experience Portion of our Master in Science in Counseling Program. I have also continued to work with Virginia as she started her own private practice. Her commitment to Biblical truth and integrity as a Cristian and a counselor is outstanding. Both in her personal and professional life Virginia seeks to serve her clients well and glorify God. I highly endorse Virginia to you.

Virginia Boone has regularly displayed a love for God, people and church. I first met her more than 12 years ago, and since then she has cared for people and ministered in the church. As her former pastor, I have watched her love for hurting people grow. She ministers as one who can identify with them and point them continually to Christ.

I have known Virginia for over 30 years. As peers in college, I looked up to Virginia and tagged along in her courageous and creative outreaches in the city of Scranton. My admiration has only deepened over the years. She has been incredibly consistent and persistent in her outreaches. Many of the darkest places in our city have seen the light of Christ because Virginia is there . . . in our county jail, our acute care psychiatric hospital, in homes, with homeless.
As Coordinator for Ministry Development at Baptist Bible College (now Clarks Summit University) it was my joy to connect female students to Virginia for ministry mentoring.
Through her own deepest valleys, and now as a mother and grandmother, Virginia’s steadiness is a testimony of God’s power and love. Mostly because of who she is, but also because of her broad experience and training, Virginia would be my first choice to connect with a needy soul.
